Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated 17 October 2026
In short: every plan comes with a free trial so you can evaluate ZeylonPOS before paying. Once a subscription payment is taken it is non-refundable. You can cancel whenever you like, and your subscription then runs until the end of the period you have already paid for.
1. Try before you pay
New accounts start with a free trial, and the trial length is shown when you sign up. The trial gives you the plan's features so you can test ZeylonPOS with your own products, staff and workflow. We ask you to use it: it is the point at which you decide whether the product suits your business.
2. Payments are non-refundable
Because the trial is the evaluation period, subscription fees — monthly, yearly and add-on charges — are not refundable, in whole or in part. In particular we do not refund:
- the remaining time on a cycle when you cancel mid-cycle;
- a yearly subscription part-way through the year;
- periods in which you did not use the account, or used it less than expected;
- charges that renewed because auto-renew was left on.
3. Cancelling
You can cancel at any time from Subscription in your ZeylonPOS account, or by emailing hello@zeylonpos.com from the account's registered address.
- Cancellation stops future renewals; it does not trigger a refund of the current period.
- You keep full access until the end of the period you have paid for.
- After that the account becomes read-only, so you can still sign in and export your data for a limited wind-down period before it is deleted.
- You can resume a cancelled subscription before the period ends and nothing is lost.
Switching auto-renew off has the same practical effect as cancelling at the end of the cycle.
4. When we will refund
We will put a payment right in these cases:
- Duplicate charge. You were billed twice for the same period.
- Incorrect amount. You were charged more than the price for your plan and cycle.
- Charge after cancellation. A renewal was taken after you had cancelled.
- Service not delivered. A paid subscription could not be activated and we were unable to fix it.
- Where the law requires it. Any statutory right you have as a consumer in your country is unaffected by this policy.
5. Plan changes
Upgrading mid-cycle charges only the difference for the time remaining. Downgrading takes effect at the next renewal and does not produce a refund for the richer plan you already paid for; a downgrade can be refused while your usage is above the lower plan's limits.
6. How to raise a billing problem
Email hello@zeylonpos.com within 30 days of the charge with your account email, the invoice number and what looks wrong. We aim to respond within two business days. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method and typically take 5–10 business days to appear, depending on your bank or card issuer.
7. Chargebacks
If you believe a charge is wrong, please contact us first — it is almost always faster. Raising a chargeback before contacting us may lead to the account being suspended while the dispute is resolved.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy; the date above shows when it last changed. The version in force when you were charged is the one that applies to that charge.
