Terms of Service
Last updated 17 October 2026
These terms form the agreement between [COMPANY_LEGAL_NAME] (“ZeylonPOS”, “we”) and the business that subscribes to the service (“you”). By creating an account or using ZeylonPOS you accept them.
1. The service
ZeylonPOS is a subscription (SaaS) platform for point of sale, inventory, sales, accounting and related business operations, delivered over the internet. Which features you can use depends on the plan, add-ons and modules active on your account.
2. Your account
- You must be able to enter a contract and must give accurate registration details.
- You are responsible for everything done under your account, including by your staff.
- Keep credentials and POS PINs confidential, and tell us promptly at hello@zeylonpos.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
- You are responsible for the user accounts and permissions you create for your team.
3. Free trial
New accounts may start with a free trial. The trial length shown at sign-up applies. During the trial you get access to the plan's features; we may change or end trials for new sign-ups at any time. If you do not subscribe before the trial ends, the account becomes read-only and may later be removed in line with our retention periods.
4. Subscriptions, billing and renewal
- Subscriptions are billed in advance for the billing cycle you choose (monthly or yearly).
- Prices on our pricing page exclude taxes unless stated. Any applicable tax is added.
- Unless auto-renew is switched off, the subscription renews automatically at the end of each cycle at the then-current price.
- You may cancel at any time from your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for.
- Where a plan change is an upgrade, the difference is charged for the remainder of the cycle. Downgrades apply from the next cycle and may be blocked while your usage is above the lower plan's limits.
- If a payment fails we may retry it, notify you, and after a grace period suspend write access until the balance is settled.
Payments are non-refundable. The free trial is the period for evaluating ZeylonPOS. See our Refund Policy for the full detail and the limited exceptions.
5. Plan limits and fair use
Plans include limits — for example on users, branches, warehouses, products, customers and POS devices. We may enforce those limits in the product. Do not attempt to work around them, and do not use the service in a way that degrades it for other customers.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- break the law, or use ZeylonPOS to store or sell anything unlawful;
- upload malware, or try to gain unauthorised access to the service or another customer's data;
- probe, scan or load-test the service without our written permission;
- reverse engineer, resell, sublicense or white-label the service unless we have agreed in writing;
- use the service to send unsolicited bulk messages.
7. Your data
Your business records stay yours. You grant us only the licence needed to host, process, back up and display that data in order to run the service for you. You are responsible for having the right to hold the data you enter — including the personal data of your own customers and staff — and for using it lawfully. Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.
You can export your data from the product while your subscription is active. We recommend keeping your own exports.
8. Tax and regulatory features
ZeylonPOS includes tax and e-invoicing features, including support for ZATCA (Fatoora) e-invoicing in Saudi Arabia. These are tools to help you comply; they are not tax or legal advice. You remain responsible for registering correctly, configuring the features for your business, and for the accuracy of what you submit to any authority.
9. Availability and support
We work to keep ZeylonPOS available and reliable, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Maintenance, updates and events outside our control can cause downtime. Unless we have signed a separate service-level agreement with you, the service is provided without a guaranteed uptime commitment. Support is provided by email at hello@zeylonpos.com.
10. Changes to the service and these terms
We improve the product continuously, and features may be added, changed or retired. We will not materially reduce the core functionality of a paid plan during a cycle you have paid for. If we change these terms we will update the date above and, for material changes, notify account holders. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
11. Our intellectual property
The software, design, trade marks and documentation are owned by us or our licensors. These terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service during your subscription, and nothing more.
12. Suspension and termination
You may stop using ZeylonPOS and cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account for non-payment, a material breach of these terms, or activity that is unlawful or that threatens the security of the service. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will warn you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.
13. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent the law allows, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free or that it will meet every requirement of your business.
14. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows:
- neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill or data;
- our total liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
15. Indemnity
You will indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your use of the service in breach of these terms or the law, or from the data you put into it.
16. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION]. The courts of [COURTS_CITY] have exclusive jurisdiction, except that either party may seek urgent injunctive relief anywhere.
17. General
If any provision is held unenforceable, the rest stays in force. We may assign these terms as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets; you may not assign them without our consent. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, are the entire agreement between us about the service.
